Ford has announced that the seventh generation of the American classic Mustang will go on sale in the summer of 2023. The newest Mustang will boast a revised exterior design, updated interior and an all-new powertrain.
Among some specific style and powertrain changes the new Ford Mustang also offers some subtle yet significant changes. The front end has been redesigned with a new grille and headlight configuration, and the rear end gets a new spoiler and taillight design. The new mustang will sit on either 17-, 19- or 20-inch wheels depending on trim and package selected. Overall, the 2024 Mustang has a more modern and athletic look, while still paying homage to its predecessors.
In the cockpit, the 2024 Mustang will get a refreshed cabin with a new digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. The seats have been redesigned for better comfort and support, and the car will have more available safety and driver-assist features than previous models.
Under the hood, the 2024 Mustang GT version will be powered by an all-new, dual-overhead-cam V8 engine. This powertrain is expected to produce over 500 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque. It will be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, or s six speed manual.
The 2024 Ford Mustang will be a true performance machine, and it will continue to be one of the most popular cars on the road. Be sure to check in with Raceway Ford for more information as we get closer to its release date next summer.
